Re: RUNE FACTORY:The new harvest moon
Some of the monsters can help you with "Livestock" so I've got a feeling that there MIGHT be ordinary animals as well...
At any rate, this looks simply AWESOME! It's one of those games that, if it comes overseas, would really make me reconsider my habit of not buying handhelds. EDIT: The Wikipedia entry says that it's coming out in June. Sweet! I just wish it were for a non-handheld...

Re: RUNE FACTORY:The new harvest moon
Well same here, though maybe not quite to that level. Pretty sure that series is the one I've spent the most amount of time playing, since I beat HM64 about 3 times, and an about halfway through A Wonderful Life (mainly because I didn't like it as much and so started playing other games, also it's about twice a long taking somewhere around 300+ hours to beat, unless you just skip a couple of the 10 years). So yeah probably around 400 hours or so on that game. The characters and the seeming randomness of events are what made that game fun. Considering one day I walked to the other farm and got punched in the face because I hadn't asked the girl to marry me yet. Wish the GC one had more of the random events like that. Seems like on each play through you found tons of new events depending on who you were friends with, and how many of the girls liked you.Originally posted by RPGDesigner View PostHarvest Moon makes my downstairs parts go upstairs.
HM64 a personal fave.
If I had a DS I'd be more exited for this, but if I eventually get a DS this will be on my to get list.Last edited by thetruecoolness; 03-21-2007, 06:07 PM.

Re: RUNE FACTORY:The new harvest moon
I'd like to get the Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life where you played the female character trying to hook up with one of three potential male brides. I'm not familiar with the HM series other than Wonderful Life which I often saw my friend play. (He LOVES Harvest Moon
