Well, how about that? I can imagine how annoyed the Katamari guy must be.

How appropriate for Katamari to find a home on the Wii!

I dunno... I really liked the normal PS2 controls. I might rather play like that than some fancy Wii control scheme.

I would imagine you would hold the wiimote horizontally with both hands and just rotate it according to the direction you wanted.

i cant imagine this being as good as the ps2 katamaris but more power to them

or less power to the guy who only wanted one to begin with

Actually, i can see this working better with SixAxis controls than i can with the Wii controller

Roll it, like you move your hands around an imaginary ball. Want to turn it? Roll with one hand. Want to turn around the ball? Use the analog stick.

The idea sounds tiresome, which is why I can agree with Jeroak on that point.

I'm thinking it'd either be holding the Wiimote sideways which would have the same control scheme as whatever they'd do with SIXAXIS most likely. Or using the Wiimote and nunchuk like joysticks, it'd pretty much be like the PS2 controls but the joysticks are in your hands instead of under your thumbs.

I thought they were putting an end to the series.
