A lot of Pavvies here play Monster Hunter. I rented it once--it's a great game. You can play with a lot of the Pavilionites, too

Oh, there's also Phantasy Star Universe if you wanted to play that on the PS2. If not online RPGs, there's quite a few competitive online games like Outrun Coast to Coast, Ratchet and Clank 3 and Deadlocked.

Socom: US Navy Seals either 2 or 3, hands down the best. When you have a headset talking to 16 other people at a time planning tactics and combat, it's f'n awesome!

Do you have to pay for service in Monster Hunter? If so, how much?

There's no monthly fee for Monster Hunter. Just get a Hunter License, create a character and you're good to go!

Thats one of the biggest benefits sony has over xbox right now, is the fact that you need to pay to play online with xbox, unless theyve changed that recently, I dont really keep up with it so I may be wrong

Even though you have to pay for Xbox Live, its only like $60(canadian) for an entire year. Its not that bad of a price at all, and its worth it.
