Alternate Text/Wiki Link(pg 2)

I have it set so every thread I post in automatically gets subscribed to, though when I browse through the subscribed threads in CP I get this big box to appear wherever the curser is and it has the entire first post of that thread on it and it blocks the rest of the posts in the CP, the only way to keep it from blocking out the other subscribed threads is to constantly move the mouse.

Is there a way to get rid of that? is it in options? because I didnt see anything for it...If its subscribed then you already know what its about and have no need to see the popup.

But thats just me, and Im just bored and decided to write down something that kind of frustrates me at times, but its no big deal if theres no way to fix it.

I just use it so I can sift through the threads that doesnt interest me, plus I can see all the threads that has been replied to that Ive posted in.

plus I dont have to keep visiting forums to check whats been replied to

I do visit sometimes(maybe once a day) each forum to check for any new topics

Currently I have 149 subscribed threads, and thats just from the past 2 weeks, I usually clean it out every week but Ive been slacking

It seems to be more work than just browsing the forums each time you show up or clicking on new posts.

Nah its actually quite easier because I dont have to go in the forum and search for the thread I posted in 30 minutes ago and see if it has a new post

What he means is that it's easy to see where the new posts are by just clicking the "new posts" link at the top of the forum.

I can't turn the preview box off for you without turning it off for everyone. sorry.

Its not a problem

Maybe Ill try what IRC said, maybe it will be easier that way, but for some reason some forums get marked as read for no apparent reason, Ill go into another thread, read it, then when I come back to the Main forum it says all threads have been read.

I take it this is an IE only thing, as I see no such big box in FF. I just get the standard tooltip, which in FF gets truncated at around 150 characters or so.

I'm using Safari right now and I get the tootip, but only if I hover over an exact spot for like 3 seconds. Even then the tooptip is truncated to around 150 words.

well yeah it is a tooltip, but it shows the entire first post unless its overly lengthy, Ive seen as many as 9-10 lines in one tooltip


On another note, so I dont have to make another topic, can we get a link to the wiki page on the main pavilion page? http://www.pavilionboards.com? I dont have it bookmarked and dont know where to find it at on here, and I dont visit the mag enough to go through that.

I could just bookmark it but figured Im not the only person that doesnt have it bookmarked
