If you could take a few pieces of music, say, from an actual song or another video game, and put them into RPGM3, what would they be? Right now the only ones I can think of right now would be the final boss music from Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (I think it's called "Banquet of Madness"), or the Credits music from Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance.

Re: If you could import music...
I'd take at least a few tracks from Apocalyptica's "Cult" and "Reflections" albums. "The Black Halo" and "Memento Mori" by Kamelot would be another choice as the final battle and end credits music for one game idea I have.
And I'd replace the standard level up music with "A New Level" by Pantera.
Oh, and the final battle music from Ace Combat Zero.Last edited by tjoris9; 03-13-2007, 07:43 PM.

I totally agree with that oneOriginally posted by tjoris9 View PostOh, and the final battle music from Ace Combat Zero.
Also the one-winged sephiroth music, the whole symphonic sound I think is awesome

"Starry Heavens" would so get into my game.

I think Apocalyptica played a cello version of it.Also the one-winged sephiroth music, the whole symphonic sound I think is awesome
Here's a link to the live performance. The version from the CD sounds a lot closer to the Sephiroth battle theme

It's on "Cult". Anything by Apocalyptica after they realized how awesome cello covers of Metallica songs were is worth buying.Last edited by tjoris9; 03-13-2007, 10:44 PM.

Re: If you could import music...
I just looked it up, and I'm dead wrong. It does sound like something I remember from FFVII, or maybe it's from something else...
The CD version starts with something that sounds like it's from a horror movie, if that might be an indication of where it comes from.
"Struggle" is a great track for battles, though, regardless if it bears any similarity to FFVII music.

Re: If you could import music...
There's a few tunes I would import; perhaps "Don't Dream it's Over" by Crowded House (these songs are from the 80's, but they still play them now and then) Or "Into the Night" (I forgot who that's by). Two real deep tunes. Perfect for credits or lonely moments. Good songs for symbolizing Water, in my Opinion. Those are two of my All-Time favorite songs.

Re: If you could import music...
Me? I'd wanna go with stuff that really fits and with some music that I really like.
I'd definately have to have "Halleluja" (perhaps the Jeff Buckley version...) in my game. I can think of at least 3 places it would fit.
I think the song "Jaded" by Aerosmith would be perfect for one of the interactions between Ivan and teh love interest. (And the jaded part would actually be referring to Ivan, not the girlfriend, but that's all I'm going to say)."I love this moment so much I want to have sex with it"--Dr. Cox, Scrubs
