    TMNT!

I'm excited about seeing the movie, but I'm not so sure about the game. It's going multiplatform, but if I'm going to decide on it at all, I'll probably go for the PS2 version.

I'm surprised Konami's not doing it since they've always done the Turtles games. The recent PS2 entries were okay--I liked the first PS2 Turtles game the best. The movie-to-game TMNT looks more like a platformer than just a beat'em up.

What are your thoughts on this?

Some of the acrobatics look pretty cool.

A multiplatform game based off a movie? Not looking good.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I hate how Splinter sounds and looks in the movie. He's more like a stoned panther now.
          ...and that's why.

Turtles in Time jammed more orchestral hits into my brain than I'll ever experience again in my entire life.

Turtles in Time and the arcade game - TMNT 2 for the NES - are by far the best.

The original arcade game's gonna be on Xbox Live Arcade (almost typed Xbox Love Arcade lol) with 4-player online support so that's pretty ****ing awesome.

Konami gave up the TMNT license to Ubisoft I believe.

Awww -.-; Oh well. I tried!

I had considered getting the Wii version of this TMNT game as well. But I wasn't too sure if the Wiimote would work good for a platformer that's also going to appear on damn near every console out now (including some next gen ones like 360) so ...the PS2 game is a good bet for me, I guess.

Hyperstone Heist rivalled Turtles In Time. They were essentially the same game, anyway.

                      Why did we sell it.

I'd be more interested in the game if you used all four turtles as a group and there was multiplayer, at least 2 players. But they probably thought everybody would just think it was a rip off of Xmen Legends. I'm not expecting much out of the movie either.

CRAPCRAPCRAP... now I must get a 360... or pay for live again. Damn you.

I would sell my soul for the TMNT and Simpsons arcade games. If I ever have enough money, I'll just buy the actual arcade units.

I liked the Super NES Turtles in Time a little better than the arcade version--simply because the SNES game had more levels and familiar villains like Slash, Tokka, and Rahzar.

The old TMNT series had so many cool villains and creatures. I liked Rocksteady and Bebop.

I love the arcade version, too. They use to have that coin-op near my old place.
