I think I did something bad...

I was typing, I was coming to the end of a very long thread, and then, I find myself at the Log In screen, and when I got back, I had to start the whole thread from scrach. I suspect I might have hit something, like "Back". Is there a way I can get that thread back?

That stinks bro. I feel your pain.

The only way I've gotten things back when that has happened is by hitting the back arrow, copying the text in the message I've typed (using the right button on the mouse), logging in again, and pasting the message to the new screen.

I know it's probably too late for this thread, but in the future, you can always type your info in Word first and then just paste it to your thread without worrying about that happening.

EDIT: Oh, I see we were posting at the same time and you just mentioned that you're going to be using Word. Well, cool, then.

I think I may have found out what might have happened, If I take a long time when writting a post, then I have to log in again. I betting that that happened, I pressed Back too much, signed in at the point which was before I typed the post, and therefore lost it. Oh well.

You don't even need to bother using Word most of the time. Just make sure you Select All and Copy ever so often when typing out a big thread.

Next time you login, check that "remember me" (or whatever it says) box and you should stay logged in.

So THAT'S what that does... I figured it was an easy way to log in if you'd already logged in earlier or if you'd forgotten your password (or something...)...thanks.
