Game Idea ( Title Pending )

Before reading the plot idea, I want to say this " Problems and ideas have been inspired by "Dragon Riders Of Pern, DragonsBlood"

Dragons of [Name Of World=Pending] are suffering from a mysterious epidemic. Dragonriders need to fight thread, But the epidemic kills hundreds of dragons a day. If things keep going at this rate the whole civilizaiton of [Name Of World= Pending] while soon be destroyed.

Its not much, I don't wan't it to follow the book completely. But people like Lorana should be in it. And for those who read the book, Yes I will probally have the " Between" feature. Which seems will be tough to do. I will also use the poems through out the book, so such as:

Firestone Dry
Dragons Fly
Firestone Wet
Riders Die


Also, I forget that song Kindan sings. I might have to read that book over some spots. If anyone has the book, Could they please post that song Kindan sings, about the " Healer Lass " and " Benden Weyr "

Sounds like a good start, you have the main focus on the game done, plus you have the book to guide you, which really helps in developing plot and storyline, Ive never read the books myself, so post more when you get the chance.

Hmm, I hope that book is still at the Libary... If anyone knows the words to Wind Blossoms Song, It would help. What I have now is clear as mud, I would say. But. I should get it sorted out in a week or so.

I like this idea. It'll be cool to see how you pull this off. Game adaptions of books aren't easy. I think game companys get a harder time for the Lord of the Rings books and the like more than they deserve. They tried. Its whover ownes their souls that forces them make those games.

I've read The Dragonlover's Guide to Pern and a couple of the Pern books. This sounds like a good game. I'm interested to find out how you'll do dragon riding though.

Yes, I think I have found a way past that though. It might be tough to get it to work how I want. I have also found the Lyrics to Wind Blossoms Song, I am just going to post them incase I need them:
