Pocket Watch (help?)

I'm looking for a pocket watch... preferably a MARIO pocket watch.

My goal is for people to see the chain and think it's most likely one of those chain wallets or whatever and I'm some kind of emo, but then when I take it out and it's a pocket watch, they can see me for the lameass I actually am.

I used to wear them and always got comments about using a pocket watch but I don't really like the wrist ones... don't like having it on my arm.


Any tips? I mean, I don't want to go to Wal-Mart and buy a $15 POS that's going to break in 3 or 4 months. I don't really know WHERE to buy these things. Would jewelry stores sell them? Or maybe a... uh... you know, hell if I know where to get a decent one or have any ideas.

You'd probably have to buy a normal one and have it customized by a jeweler. Have you tried searching on the internets?

My ex bought me one a few years ago.. it's actually a really nice timepiece with a sweet inscription, one of the few things from our relationship I keep around.

I used to wear a watch on my arm all the time.
I stopped aftera few months.

One, I work in kitchens, and its a pain in the ass taking your watch off all the time, because if you dont youll get food all over it. And two, it started wearing a mark into my arm. Id take it off and youd see a slight tanline, then an almost gouge into my arm all aournd where the band went.
