If you could change one or two things about Rpg Maker 3 (like the mechanics or events or whatever); or could add an additional character or monster model, or a spell effect, what would it be? I know I'd certainly like to be able to have water in dungeons. I'd like to see what anyone else can come up with.

Re: Wishing for Change
Been there
Done that
As for your question, a random number generator would be nice, as would customizable character models and spell effects, and also the ability to clone events and name variables. That's my short list.Last edited by Perversion; 03-01-2007, 05:56 PM.

Re: Wishing for Change
I'd be remiss to answer a question like this without linking to my RPGM Wishlist, but if I had to choose just two things, they would be a "combination effect" skill/item editor where you can script fairly complex effects for skills and items, and also a far more flexible Town Editor that would, at the very least, allow you to design the size, form, and general look of a Town Map in the vein of the way you can for Field Maps.

Re: Wishing for Change
I'd like to think they're all perfectly feasible, however.Originally posted by JPS View PostYa I think Wavelength gets the award for "Most Wishes For RPGM4"

Re: Wishing for Change
I want to post a few more ideas here. I would personnally like a few more weapon types, such as a scythe (though, realisticly, that probably wouldn't be much of an effective weapon) or some sort of claw weapon. I'd also like to be able to set characters in random encounter parties or monsters in player parties like you can in XP. I'd like to be able to change the phase of the moon at night. And as always, there is the ever-present desire to place water in dungeons (for now, I just use the trick where you make a town and pass it off as part of a dungeon, in my case I use the Ancient Castle and some water-based decorations).Last edited by Dusk Raven; 03-18-2007, 10:36 PM.
