Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? (TV show)

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/TV/0....ap/index.html

Have any of you seen this show? I've watched it a few times, and I liked it. It's funny seeing adults get stumped on questions like "How many sides does a trapezoid have?"
In the beginning the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and is widely considered as a bad move.

    It's hosted by Jeff Foxworthy.

    ...that's all I'm gonna say.

I saw it just recently. It was okay. I like how the choices for the adults are "peek" - take a look at your 5th grade classmate's answers and see if you want to pick the same answer, "copy" - without even checking if you agree, blindly copy what your 5th grade classmate has on his/her paper, and I forget the third choice. Yay for promoting honesty in schools!!

        Foxworthy.

I try to overlook the host...I just enjoy seeing people looking dumb on tv.

I accidentally saw some of it after American Idol the other night. It was alright, but I just can't watch shows like that on a weekly basis. If it happens to be on TV once in a while I might leave it on, but I won't make an effort to see it.

I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed trying to see if I could answer the questions. But they really shouldn't call it Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader it should be How Much Do You Remember From 5th Grade.

I do hate how slow the show moves though.

I like trivia shows, but only when the questions are challenging.

I watched this last night and it was OK, but I probably won't watch it for long.

I find this show pretty amusing but I hate how they drag out the show and how many commercials it has. It gets annoying after awhile.

Yeah it was pretty good, but damn a commercial after every damn question. Jesus Christ. Most 30 minute shows have commercials before and after, and one block during. This has at least 3 or 4 commercial breaks. So yeah it would be much better if they didn't drag it out so much, like every gameshow. Not quite as bad a Deal or No Deal in that respect but still pretty bad.

As for Foxworthy, he's a decent comedian, and certainly one of the most successful. So he doesn't make too bad of a host, though I'm not so sure he's cut out for game shows, though he has the stretching it out thing down pat. Apparently that's what gameshows are all about today, dragging out about 3 minutes of content over hours.

The questions are too easy. Though I've never seen it--go figure. I like it when the questions are harder. I can try to answer more questions than anyone else in the room, you know, try to make it look like I have a wider frame of reference than they do.

I hate how they drag out the answers, like "did he get it right or not?" umm it's kinda obvious if he got the answer when the questions are that 'elementary.' Like OMG is Na Sodium!?!?!?! Der...calling captain stupid.

I'm watching it for the first time right now. I'm surprised there's been a couple questions I wasn't sure on. I feel stupid.

WTF? They ended in the middle of a question? They could've at least finished that one. What, are they trying to do a cliffhanger?
