Anyone else having trouble getting into Wii Shop Channel?

It happens a lot this whole week.

I get an error message and have to try again later. Usually takes a couple hours before I can get in.

The news and weather channels work just fine. Is it because of heavy traffic?

We ALWAYS have problems with the damn shop. I can get news and weather in a heartbeat, but not the shop.

Seriously, Nintendo... you WANT people like Dave Carter to be able to access the Wii shop channel.

Strange. I haven't had any trouble accessing it. Though, I haven't gone on this week.

Maybe it has something to do with Ocarina of Time.

Sometimes even though my USB adapter is plugged in and my Internet is connected and my Wii is on, it won't connect to the Internet on my Wii, no matter what. I have no idea what that's about.

I sometimes have trouble getting to the Wii Shop Channel, but it isn't too common.

I have more trouble with Everybody Votes because whenever I try to submit votes and stuff, it doesn't get through.

I have trouble getting on the Wii Shop channel, because I don't have a Wii yet. Do you think that's the problem?

I have connection problems once in a while but it usually connects on the second attempt.

Not very easy to type or read.

I'm hoping the full version Wii browser will support USB keyboard. Has there been any word on that?

I can never connect. It's about a two - three day process to download a VC game.

And suddenly there is some word on the final version of the browser.

PlayNintendo[/quote] emailed some questions to Opera and they answered a few.

1. So here's the big question; when will we be getting the full version of the browser to download on Wii?
1) Opera and Nintendo are planning the release for the final
version of the browser for late March/early April.
2. The biggest problem (Which is still very small) to do with the Opera browser is that typing can be very slow (Especially for Novices). There was a rumor that keyboard drivers were a possibility. Does that stand?
2) You will have to check with Nintendo on their plans to offer a
keyboard. Opera would not be involved in this.
7. Our last question is will there be any updates to the browser after this version, or is this it?
7) The browser for Wii will be regularly updated.

Questions 2-6 were about Flash and Java support, tabbed browsing, and the black bars around the window. Opera said they couldn't answer those because of a NDA with Nintendo.

How about an ability to see the text from at least more than 2 inches from the screen without zooming in so much that we can only read two words of text at a time....
