The last day of online service for Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence in North America will be April 2nd.

Konami sincerely thanks all of the Subsistence online community for their dedication to the game and support of the Metal Gear Solid series.

One of the best online console games and it only got to see life for a SINGLE YEAR.

I never played MGS online, but if I could figure out how to get my PSP to get an IP address I could at least play Portable Ops online.

Online was great. MGS3S was IMO, the only online game that was done right. Simple, fun and challenging to master. And lag was the last thing I remembered.

Although, I'm sure they would keep it going if they were charging that's no excuse. Monster Hunter is still running and it didn't even sell well here. And Resident Evil Outbreak. Capcom supports its online games. For shame, Konami. For shame.
