Yay! Ive saved up a little over seven grand, so I went out and got myself a laptop! No more punching my brother until he gets off the family computer.

Cost me a hefty $2479.00 canadian, but its soooooo worth it. So sleek and sexy looking!

-1.6GHz Pentium Centrino (HAWT!!)
-15.4" LCD widescreen
-128mb Intel video card
-Windows XP Home with SP2 installed
-DVD+\- CD-RW combo drive
-6 in 1 media card reader and express card slot
-6 cell lithium ion battery with 6 hour use before recharge
-and ports for DSL, 56K plugs, with a wirless thingy built in
-and lastly a ****ing remote that I can use to watch movies with from a distance, or just use to turn it on! Even though I wont use it much, it pops out of the side all badass like.

I also got this big backpack set for free, and it came with all kinds of neato gizmos for laptops like locks, USB splitters, retractable cables, speakers, etc.

Mine's better. Though, pretty similar.

Enjoy it dude. After getting my laptop, I bring it to class and look at message boards and talk to friends play world of warcraft. I love wireless.

I hate labtops. They are too damn flimsy, with the keyboard connected directly to the screen and everything else...

I cannot stand using them. I like my keyboard seperate, mouse seperate, screen seperate, and prefer having no need to hunch down in my chair to stare at the tiny screen.

I love this thing.

I spent so damn much on it because I might as well spend the money while I still have it. Better to get it now than be scrounging for money while im taking classes and whatnot.

And its very quiet too. Unlike my familys desktop PC which sounds like a monster truck show, and literally vibrates back and forth sometimes.

My only complaint is that, like every other laptop, it doesnt have a number pad on the right side. But I just use the numbers across the top, so its no big problem.

And Terr, what tiny screen? 15.4" isnt tiny at all, and thats like the new standard size now. I only saw one other one with a smaller screen, and it was 12". They even make them with 17" screens too.

And it you have problems with using the touchpads and keyboards, they have USB ports for you to use. I cant stand the touchpad, so I use a USB mouse that I had already.

thats sexy, i got a laptop too. best things ever. mine cost about the same, its less powerful too, but its REALLY freaking small and light. i love it! they're especially good for picking up signals whenever your around a city or suburbs, internet on the go!

(where i live, no matter where i am, i get at least 2-3 unlocked signals)
