I heard Gore can't go up on stage because he's not credited correctly.

Apparently if the movie wins the award goes to the director, not to him. But I still don't see why Gore couldn't go up with the director.

Gore does ride around in a Cadillac Escalade, to boot. With his wealth, he could be driving a Tesla Roadster no problem, or if he absolutely needed a vehicle to seat as many people as the Escalade, at least get it converted to electric.
