    Volition sequels

Since it was announced, I can talk about it.

    http://www.gamespot.com/news/6166288...s&subj=6166288

Hell, Saints Row 2 was in production before we finished the original Saints Row, and I joined Volition originally to work on the Red Faction sequel...this was about a year and a half ago. You guys know I left the company only for personal reasons; they make great stuff there.

All I can say is that the Red Faction sequel is going to be AWESOME. It's truly next gen...not just in terms of graphic technology, but most of all the gameplay. If they pull it off (and my money is on that they will), it's going to be something to get excited about.

Yay, Red Faction. The second one was a dissapointment in terms of not being able to blow up everything like you were in the first one.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

As long as I can make tunnels with rockets then I will be happy.

In the first one, my sister and I would try to make tunnels on either side, and try to connect them.

Kire, do you know if the games are going to be multiconsole? or what? it would make sense to make them for the PS3 and 360, not sure about the Wii though.

I know you arent there anymore, but just thought i would ask.

Sweet, the first Red Faction was one of my first games for the PS2 and one of my favorites. My friend and I used to mess around a lot deforming the multiplayer maps with explosions until the memory maxed out and there wasn’t anything left to blow up.

Hey Kire, I got a question for you about the game business. After you complete a game, like Saints Row a few months back, what happens to most of the employees after that? Do they immediately go to work on a new project or temporarily laid off until another one is lined up? I don’t know why, but that question has been bugging me for a while.

Oh man, the map destruction on a nextgen console better be insane.

Even without that gimmick, Red Faction 1 & 2 were solid games.

Tunneling in RF was the coolest thing in any fps I think. If they amplify that ability, i'll buy two copies.

I want to be able to like, fire a rocket at the ceiling and have the rubble fall and kill an opponent.

Wouldn't that mean they could do it to you?

It would add some immersion to the game, thats for sure.

I hope that you can trap people and bury them alive so that they can't move for the rest of the game they just have to sit there and do nothing
