Should I get this Wiimote charger?

I don't know about you, but I hate spending money on replacing batteries for electronic things that use them. This is especially true for the Wiimote. Just now, the batteries ran out of power and I have to drive up to Target or something after school and work to get new ones. I hate throwing away money like this.

But I think I may have found a solution to that problem.

I ran into this double Wiimote charger from a third party and thought "well, this might be a way to save money on battery replacement." However, it's made by Nyko. I'm a little uneasy about using stuff from third-parties because they're not endorsed or supported by the big names....for obvious reasons. However, I'm inclined to think that this thing will save me money on buying batteries for my Wiimote every so often.

So, before I make the decision, I'll need your guys input on this. You think this is a good idea?

I have a large stock of rechargeable batteries that I keep handy for such inconveniences.

Hmm I wonder if Nintendo finds some sick pleasure in me spending money on batteries for my Wiimote.

Anyways, I'll get this charger at a later date. I spent too much money this month.

I work at Best Buy where I get a 48 pack of AAs for under $5.
I just keep those stocked in the house.

Wonder how much a year batteries will cost you for the Wii.

depends on what games you play. anything that uses the camera in the remote (for the sensor bar), like Zelda, drains the batteries pretty fast. Luckily zelda lets you turn that off and aim with the analog. I always turn it off unless I know I'm gonna be using the bow, boomerang, or hookshot a lot.

I think Zelda, with the pointer on, can drain the batteries in about 20 hours. pointer off, the batteries last at least double that.

Come on, there's gotta be some kind of nerdy game website that's done the math on this, right?
