    Hikaru No Go

Here's another unlicensed anime heads up from your's truly. Last time I told you about Yakitate! Japan, an anime about a bread baking kid. http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/494.html Nobody ever told me if they saw it though.

Today I will tell you about an anime about a kid who plays Go (a Japanese board game) with the aid of an ancient ghost who came out of a haunted Go board. It's not a new anime. In fact, it's already finished. But, it is one of the best animes I've ever seen. I don't know a thing about playing Go either. You don't have to play Go to enjoy this anime. It's the characters that make it so much fun to watch. I got into it by reading the manga in Shonen Jump, but I couldn't wait for the next one so, I started watching the anime. So, check it out and tell me what you think. http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1.html

Also, if you have trouble getting the torrents fully downloaded, you can always try DC++. http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/ It's a file sharing program with specialized hubs. Think IRC meets Kazaa.

I like the series, but I'm not that into it. I mostly enjoy it for the art. The artist draws some of the best hands I've ever seen, and his layouts and expressions are also well done.

The manga in jump was pretty good, but now that they are playing go on the net, I lost interest. I might check out one episode, but the shows always drags things out so much more than the manga.

I know a girl who cosplayed as Fujiwara Sai.

I saw about 15 eps. While it was fun at first, it quickly got dull (save for Sai's antics. Him and the pop machine was priceless.).

It starts getting really good around episode 16. That's when they start playing on the net. I really like that. Sai gets a reputation because of his strength which puts them in an odd situation. Sai does some funny things with the computer too.

Only a woman could cosplay Sai properly. That is one pretty man.

My roommate adored it. I can only imagine why.

I love the Manga, both for the art (like YAM said) and because the story is pretty simple in an enjoyable way. No long dragged out Go Battle nonesense.
I will probably check out the Anime, but im not holding my breath or anything.

My friend forced me to watch the first 8 episodes. It wasnt anything amazing, but it had a funny scene here and there.

He even got me playing GO online for a while. I got my ass kicked on there by a bunch of people, but it was still fun.
