There's a hummingbird that built a nest outside my tree.
She's been a good neighbord. Keeps good hours and doesn't play music too loud.
Now it's getting all windy and stormy and stuff.
The tree is only about 4 years old, it's about 20 feet tall, but the wind whips it around pretty good.
There's probably something I could do like tie the tree down or something. Or maybe just less direct in being helpful, put up a feeder. Should I intervene and risk making it worse or try to help the gal out?

Leaving a feeder somewhere nearby couldn't hurt.
Just make sure you change it out every few days, or it will ferment and you'll have some drunk hummingbirds.

Just tying the tree at equal angles anchored equidistant from the tree should help it be more stable.

I've decided I'm gonna put up a little catch net for the egg[s] in the spring and a little feeder in the yard.

I got a feeder, put up a net.
She has a little baby now.
It's so tiny. Sleeps all the time, but I see it being fed sometimes.

At's-a whaddya call a cute.
Newborn hummingbirds are certainly miniscule, so to speak. Five of them could fit in a teaspoon, more or less.

That's really adorable. I'm glad you were there to help her out, and I'm sure she will provide you with some interesting entertainment in the months to come.

But Taco Bells halo bones and feathers aren't fresh!
Ray Charles can hear your hummingbird. Its heart just skipped a beat.

Gotta love a bird with slender wrists.
Come now, Fopa's serious about his little hummingbird neighbor.
By the by, how's she been eating?

Cuuuute.
This is a side of Mistafopa I'm not familiar with.
Edit - Actually I can't tell what's going on there. Nothing bad, right?
Guess that answers my question.
Ooh, look at the contrast.
