I read the book way back in the day. I didn't like how the studio promoted it as a kinda harry potter magic film. That barely encompasses the complete story.

I almost confused the girl with Dakota Fanning. I soon realized it was the girl who was in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory :P (forget her name)

Anyway, I look forward to seeing it. Looks fantastic, especially the world designs and creatures.

I'll probably see it once its on HBO or something. If I am seeing any movie this weekend, it's going to be Ghost Rider

I read the book as a kid, and I recall enjoying it. Maybe... maybe I should check this out?

This is one of those books my mom always has her students read. I never did though. Damn Giver broke my trust.

That'd be an interesting book to adapt.

The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Maaaan. The book isn't THAT good, as I recall. And I can't recall much of it except the end.

Didn't they do a big budget Tuck Everlasting? Anyone see that?

Cause his head feels like it's on fire? Or maybe it's because he's okay, his head is killing him but he's okay.

I've seen it. It was quite true to the book.

It'd be nice if they could make these kinds of movies more often without hamstringing themselves by basing it on a novel. Something tells me it would work out well.
