I got a job offer!

Hey Pavilion: former Subway employee here.

I have a meeting at 4pm today with someone offering me a job in software testing with much room for advancement in software development in the future.

Also, it is based almost solely on my GPA and almost has nothing to do with my past experience. I thought GPA didn't matter much, but I guess I was wrong.

I'm psyched.

From what I hear from people GPA doesn't matter in that they don't specifically what you got, but just that you have at least something, like at least a 3.0 or at least a 3.5.

I'm currently rocking a 3.01.

I'm actually proud of that little .01. I think it's more impressive that I managed to hit it dead on. Thousands of people have 3.54 or 3.28, I nailed it with a .01. That's a .01 margin of error. Pretty damn good if you ask me.

Also apparently to get a job I'm gonna have to move to Chicago or New York. WHO WANTS A ROOMIE!?!

My GPA for my major was 3.90, and 3.89 for my minor.

What's your area of concentration, IRC? What makes you think you have to move to the big city?
