Fighter Maker 2 Questions

When I got my slim PS2 in December, I purchased a used copy of Fighter Maker 2, but it didn't come with a book. I've been messing around with changing some of the preset characters, but it's a bear to make everything from scratch, especially without the book. Does anyone know where a book (or excerpts from it) might be available?

Also, I noticed that we have an interesting variety of Fighter Maker 1 characters that have been created and posted on here. Will those be able to be played on Fighter Maker 2 as well? (Oh, and if so, are those .max files?)

Does anyone use their Fighter Maker 2 still. I've seen that a variety of people have it, but in all the time I've been here, I haven't seen much conversation about this game at all.

I used Fighter Maker 2, but I havent touched it in over a year.

The game has been out of print for a very long time, so I know you can't get a manual from agetec now. might want to check ebay? a manual isnt neccesary though, I never used it. figured everything out myself.

The fighters on the pavilion are in the dex drive's .gme format. you can load them into Fighter Maker 2, but some of them don't transfer over intact, like karatikubaka.

come to think of it, I should get those fighters uploaded in .max format.

Oh, that's too bad that not all of the characters on here transfer over well.

Well, I guess it's just a matter of trial and error and patience with this game. I like the varieties of ways that you can change your character's appearance (at least color wise).

Don't feel bad. I got my fighter maker 2 as well and it didn't come with a book either. But its okay you just have to learn the functions like I do. I have the guide book for rpg maker 2 though. lol

if you get stuck on something I can help. I will have my playstation 3 online at the end of this week and I am on action replay max evo alot and you can catch me on their once in a while. I will let you know what my user name is on their. I can upload my game saves on their. I have like 4 pen drives to save my game saves. lol and i just bought another one for my playstation 3 that takes a sd card for the playstation 3 system.
