An Interesting Counterstroke to Gay Marriage Bans

Gay activists in Washington are seeking to put on the ballot an initiative to ban marriage for anyone who cannot or will not have children within 3 years of marrying.

It's in response to the state Supreme Court ruling the ban on gay marriage was legal due to the state's interest in protecting marriage solely as a vehicle for reproduction.

Wow, uh, what about the people who actually can't, or decide not to?
    ...and that's why.

Interesting yet meaningless. It's like my petition that since Texas State has designated no smoking areas they should also have designated smoking only areas.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

        That's the point.

It's simply designed to show the stupidity of the Supreme Court decision.

Wouldnt it be hilarious if the supreme court decided to counter the counterstrike and go ahead and pass that law, then overturn the gay marriage ban

If they pass that law, then sometime in the future decide banning gay marriage was unconstitutional, the same people who asked for the 3-year marriage thing would be trying to get their own law they supported banned then...

It all comes back to the fact that they're making it harder on thierselves to win this fight

Why don't they just save everybody some time and ban marriage altogether. It's pretty much just an excuse to wear a big ugly dress and eat a big ugly cake. That's what birthdays and prom are for.
