Here is somewhat a hybrid of my old and new style. I wanted the girl to have the badass sword this time around Mora!

Pretty cool. I have to say, though, the guy's expression seems a bit "Meh"... literally. As in he seems to be thinking "Eh, I'll record it when I get home".

The girl reminds me of a Maria(star Ocean III) with lighter tinted hair. The guy seems unique enough to me. Nicely done :)

HOW?!?! How can anybody draw something like that? Ugh, maybe I oughta grab a copy of Photoshop (if it were a lot more affordable, that is). I certainly couldn't see any art like that coming from Paint.
Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to make that? I can see the characters not taking very long, but the background, yikes. Unless photoshop has some special tools that can easily create backgrounds like that.

Sweet!
Is the background a modification of other images, or did you render most of it yourself?

The BG took the least amount of time out of the whole pic. it is a pic of mars with some blue and the special brushes I use for my photo retouching at my real job at the studio. BG took about 15 mins. the rest took easily about 3 hours.

Using a brush...never thought of that...

Iva, I scan my sketches at 300(industry standard) then shrink the image down to about 2000 pix, after the pic is done I usually shrink the image down again to about 1000,700,or sometimes 500 pix. It makes the image more crisp if you start big and resize the image as you finish up.
hope that helps somewhat duders.
