    Skills USA Competition Results

So yesterday, I went to Skills USA for the Animation competition. You are given 4 hours to create a short film (15-30 seconds long) that tells a story. You have one other team member, mine was my friend Justin.

Yeah so we got the results from the Skills USA competition yesterday, and justin and i won 1st place Regional with 93/100 points! =)

The prompt was: Make an animation about 2 opposing forces that join together at the end. We had 4 hours to make this animation, and we barely made it with 1 min. to spare haha, hope you guys enjoy:

And we are required to render 2 stills so here:

That means, we are going to state on March 25-28 =D

Well i guess it isnt really clear, but its about 2 different ant mound groups that clearly hate eachother (one hits the other in the face with a rock), but a lawn mower comes by and destroys them both, then at the end they built their mound as one big one.

Yeah, I mean, don't take offense. But it wasn't very clear. :/

I didn't really follow it either.

But hey looks nice for 4 hours.

Indeed it wasn't completely clear, but I managed to use my brain to figure it out. All in all not bad only have four hours to work with.

When the one threw the rock at the other I thought of some kind of cannon fodder game.

Finish it and put in sound.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I closed the video, and ill reopen it depending on how far we go in the competition...we rather not let the people going to state/nationals see how we do things. Thanks for the comments again.
