There is a fear that Harrison Ford will walk and not make a fourth Indiana Jones movie as he has been told that he cannot use a real whip, Indiana Jones is most famous for the use of his whip to help him get out of situation but he has been told by the studio that is against new health and safety laws to allow him to use a real one so instead a computer generated has to be added in later

Ford has said that this rule is ridiculous and that he will pull out of the new movie unless he gets his whip back

I think a CGI Greedo should jump out and shoot Harrison Ford first. That'll bring the kids in. In fact, why not just do the ENTIRE movie in CGI? I bet nobody would get sued that way.

CGI is way overused these days. To actually mandate its use over something real under the guise of "health and safety" is preposterous.

That's why I like Mad Max and The Roadwarrior so much. None of that lame, trite, overused fake-looking computer-generated crap. These were real men performing real stunts on real motorcycles with real weapons. When you saw The Goose doing 180 km/h on his Kawasaki KZ1000 through the twisties, he was really doing 180 km/h on it. You could even see it right on the speedometer.

Man, those were the days of quality cinema.

Pathetic!! If Indiana Jones can't use a real whip then they might as well rename the movie "Pansy's Adventure."Yet another case where people are so concerned about getting sued that all of the joy and just plain fun are removed from life.

We live in an over-litiguous society where bureaucracies expect an individual to be fully responsible for their actions, yet the bureaucracy or the higher-ups within it itself refuses to take any responsibility for their actions.

As a natural consequence, you get all sorts of new regulations and restrictions to protect people from themselves...
