Two years ago friday night, the current pavilion forum was opened to the public.
The switch from EZboard changed the Pavilion forever. It paved the way for the site/forum integration, it allowed us more flexability with how we handle everything here, and introduced the RPG Maker community to innovations that have become standards in RPG Maker sites, like the submission forums.
We are essentially essentially celebrating the Pavilion's rebirth. After a long period where no one was submitting new games, no one new was joining, existing members were growing frustrated and bored, the move changed everything. Everyone was excited to be at the pavilion again, people rushed to register new accounts, even people who had left long before. New people started coming in, filling up the RPG Maker forums, and submitting new demos and games. With the move, we showed everyone that we were back to business. A completely fresh start is exactly what we needed.
I'd like to thank everyone for sticking with us, and for giving the pavilion the breath of fresh air that it so desperately needed back then. Things haven't slowed down at all, and with any luck they never will.
