SirTMagus, one thing about global warming is that it doesn't make everywhere hotter, in fact it makes some places colder and just screws up the weather in general...I think that's why we're having these crazy ice storms and blizzards in the middle of the country.

In 2001, the panel said the world's average temperature would increase somewhere between 2.5 and 10.4 degrees Fahrenheit and the sea level would rise between 4 inches and 35 inches by the year 2100.

Anyway, the weather was definitely jacked up here lately. We went from the earliest snow here ever back in November. Now mind you it almost never snows here and it hadn't even started snowing in a lot of the areas that get it annually. Then we had record highs for weeks. Total Spring/Summer weather. And now we're getting to normal temps for the season. It's just odd.
