    classic adventure games, ho!

I beat Castlevania PoR and it was ok...it was nice, but I felt empty afterwards...like having sex with a prostitute. Anyway, I have plenty of adventure games to look forward to now to make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I don't know how to explain it, but lots of games just feel like wastes of time now. I know it's hypocritical because I still love to compete in NBA 2k7 and Fight Night Rd 3.

Anyhoo, here's what I got to look forward to in the near future!!! I love reading text and having to figure stuff out. I miss point and clickers, but this will do just fine. I was thinking about

Phoenix Wright: And Justice For All
    Hotel Dusk: Room 215
Sam & Max: ep. 1 through 6 (2 of 'em out now)
Grim Fandango (finishing this one up)

I'm getting Phoenix Wright and Hotel Dusk soon. If I had a decent PC I'd would play Grim Fandango and maybe Sam & Max. The only thing I know about Sam & Max is that I watched that cartoon they had for a while.

I'll be getting both phoenix wright games as soon as I have the money for them. local gamestop is holding a copy of the first one for me. Its impossible to find that damn game around here, so when I finally found it I begged the store's manager to hold it for me, and he agreed because I call damn near every week asking if they have any in. This way, the phone calls stop.

If they give the game to someone else, post their number at the Pav.

You could've asked me, the Circuit City near me had a pile of 'em. {:3

all games are a "waste" of time! deal with it!

phoenix wright is fun. i'm getting the new one and i played the old one. getting the last one was so hard, since i put off getting it when it came out, no way in hell am i making the same mistake twice!

                      Re: classic adventure games, ho!

If a game doesn't make me experience something new, or engadge me with an intriguing story, or provide me with some kind of cometition, then to me it's a waste of time. Why? Because I'm a storyteller, in one shape or another. I do character animation and direct cutscenes for a living, and I also like to make short movies on the side. I know the contributions to the field I make are trivial at best, but it's something that's important to me. I know it sounds silly, but that's just how it is.

So, when I play the same thing AGAIN (like Megaman XE and PoR), it definitely loses a lot of value in my eyes and I'm pretty much just going through the motions. I know I'm really picky in this vain, but that's just how it is.

So what exactly is the big deal with Phoenix Wright? I never played it and I may consider getting once I have a DS.

Our Game Stop - I'm pretty sure it's the only one in the city - didn't have Phoenix Wright 2.

So I bought Contact. It seems charming as heck. And all I've done is enter my name!
