        This looks more like a personal attack than a legitimate thread. If Marcus thinks DQ:RS is a piece of **** then, he thinks DQ:RS is a piece of ****.

            And Marcus is free to think it's a piece of ****, I don't see anyone in this topic disputing that.

            I wouldn't say it's a personal attack, it's just inspiration from irritation. Marcus's comment did bring up a good point. There are lots of games people play for reasons other than just fun, and it hasn't really been addressed before.


            Valk made the comment he plays Mega Man Legends when he wants to kick a can into a bakery.

            I believe Terr has admitted to playing GTA3 before just to get a 5 star rating and elude the cops driving at 170 mph without scratching the car.

            Stuff like that.

            I think that's a bit much. People are going to disagree, and if you lock a topic because it offends someone over something this minute, we wouldn't have any open topics on the board at all. He didn't flame him, call him names, or break any rules... it's a valid question, and since I don't care if Marcus likes Rocket Slime or not (I still haven't played it) then I'll make a topic asking this question if it's believed Dingo is being bitter.

                    I only play ATV Off Road 2 (PS2)for the crazy hockey game it has.
                    I only play Asteroids (PSX) for that nostalgic feeling it gives me deep inside the bowels of my soul. [apparently souls have bowels. I know. Weird.]

                            Wow to sense venom in this topic is retarted. If i want to flame someone i'd do it. Jeeze read my response to him in the actual topic that inspired it. I didnt flame him at all. Maybe i should have left out the quote...but it gives reason to this topic and makes it not completly random crap.

                              The only reason I got Chrono Trigger was because of Chrono Cross (I know, that seems backwards.)
                              I only play Silent Hill because its awesome!!!
                              I only play the Shin Megami Tensei series because... uuumm.... because its good demonic fun.
                              I only play Soul Reaver, anymore, because of the empty feeling SR2's combat gives me.
                              I only played FF8 because of FF9 and FF7 because of FF8, etc.
