Crazy funny things you hear on the radio

I listen to talk radio to and from work just to see what people are saying and sometimes there will be something interesting, but it's mostly right wing nutjobs saying crazy stuff. Here's some of my favorites:

- Liberalism is a mental disorder

- Our courts are out of control and we need to strip some of their powers (i.e. get rid of checks and balances in government)

- The "sexually deviant generation" will eventually die out cuz they aren't procreating and having children. (right, cuz teh ghey eventually died out, right?)

- Our college campuses and public schools are overrun by liberals and we need to take them back

- "Terrorists" (i.e. anyone the U.S. captures) don't deserve human rights or the rules outlined in the Geneva Convention.

I never listen to talk radio, because I end up wanting to punch people in the face. Too many windbags with too much mic time.

But I did overhear something funny while I was at UT with my friend. We walked past a tall guy speaking with a prof, and all we caught of the conversation was "And I told him I wasn't even singing in falsetto that much."

Never listen to radio, but my alarm clock woke me up playing Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds. That's all I got.

I listen to a local morning show for the 10 minute drive home from work each morning. I usually get to hear some "News of the I'll be Damned," where they find the most obscure and goofy and unbelievable news stories from around the world, talk about them and make fun of them. Jack and Ron in the morning. Not exactly 'talk radio,' but they're definitely liberals in a convservative state, so there's a lot of hate mail that finds its way onto their show.

There is this horrible stuff called *gasp* 'Modern Rock' that is always on my radio. It's horid, and I can't understand why people keep tuning into it. Needless to say I don't, rigged a portable cd player in the car. You know how that works.

This one time on the morning show, the announcer was talking about the pope's funeral and was talking about religious faiths and how some of the sects are more hardcore than others. She said "some of the more hardcore sects maybe, and just so you don't get all excited, that's s-e-c-t-s..." and then they talked some more. After a while, she said it again so it deliberately sounded like she said hardcore sex, and the two male announcers giggled like schoolgirls.

It's an odd radio station I listen to.

Um, I never listen to the radio. If I do, it's this classic rock station.

My station used to have one of those silly mourning DJ's but then he got fired for making fun of the guy who got captured in Iraq and his head got cut off. Then after that they completely overhauled the station to play more music and just be so much better. Plus they gave me tickets to see the Beastie Boys cause I was a member of their "nation" club and I had put the Beastie Boys as my favorite band. So their really awesome now

Yeah totally, I'm just glad they kept in Loveline... nothing beats listening to that while working on homework. NOTHING!

Everything that spews out of Rush Limbaugh's nether region appears to have come from an entirely different dimension altogether. In his world, American soldiers found functioning Iraqi chemical weapons that apparently could have been used on Americans all the way from Iraq, electric cars can only go 30 miles per charge and 40 miles per hour, Fox news is fair and balanced, Michael Moore should be imprisoned because of the things he has said amounts to 'treason' regardless of the first amendment, the rich are too heavily taxed but their tax loopholes should be ignored entirely, and that Halliburton has done nothing wrong and that it is ok for them to overcharge American taxpayers and even refuse to deliver products that are paid for...

Crazy.
