I think it's a good game--the premise is original, and plus the Slime is so cute.

    The Tank battles are insane.

I love love loved it. Dungeon crawling was actually fun! Every enemy and most of the items could be taken back and used to aid the tank/serve as ammo. My Favorite Tank team was Killbot, Umm on of the cliche Ninja slimes and MIMIC! my all time favorite Monster. Favorite item: The rideable slime knight i would always end a tank duel by charging in with my knight a breaking ****. Two problems, SHORT and the hardest boss fight..after you beat the game is with...........

It's alright. It really feels like the game was designed to get small children into RPGs though. I don't like how you have to go through the same areas over and over and how the game is split up into areas with a SMW style map. I can't helped but be reminded of FF:MQ by it. I think it would have worked better if the world was all connected like a Zelda game. On the bright side, the gameplay is solid and it has tons of cute DQ stuff.

i heard this game is CRAP and people who play it are MORONS!!!

but seriously, it reminds me of the original kirby a little bit. a well done game that's not that close to hard, but has solid gameplay and is fun.

                    i need to get it.

                        Re: Rocket Slime

Dragon Quest has never had a good spinoff (Monster's series, Torneko) and after playing Rocket Slime I have to stick with my opinion.

It is fun... for the first 2 hours and then you see past the cute graphics and Dragon Quest charm and realize it's a pretty generic action/adventure game. The tank battles break up the monotony a bit but they are way too slow to be fun after the first battle.

There is a nice reference to Chrono Trigger but that's the only reason I actually played the game.

You played the game because of a refrence to Chrono Trigger?

                            That's dumb.

Let me rephrase that; it was the only reason why I continued the game. I played it to prove me wrong about my spin-off statement but it did nothing for me. Glad you guys enjoyed it, atleast.

This new Dragon Quest Swords/whatever deal for the Wii sounds kinda interesting, but the idea of "Dragon Quest on RAILS" turns me off... and it'll probably be another terrible spin-off.
