I know it's kind of old but does anyone still play this? It's been sitting on my shelf for a while and I've been wanting to get back into it but I don't know anyone to play it with...I could probably find a server but I'd rather play with someone I know

I also have Broodwar but I suck at it

yeah, Ive been neglecting to get a newer one, the one I have now was purchased in 1988 and was overhauled in 1998, motherboard/processor is 9 years old, 20Gig HD is 4 years old, slave 1.5Gig HD is 5 years old...and the case is 16 years old.

Get on Broodwar - Caciss and I play every chance we get. It doesn't take that much time to get 'good' at it and its quick and fun afterwards.

I'll set everything up for BW tonight, I think I still have it all installed, I made a map a while back where everything happens in 1 second and you have an infinite amount of resources right at the start of the game....I used to play the map all the time with someone I knew and it was crazy I think one game between us using that map lasted 4 hours because it only takes a matter of seconds to build another base

but yeah I will definitely set it up, which channel are you two on?

nah I play anything, money maps dont really interest me, theres no strategy there, thats why I had to put that 1-sec rule in it

I dont know, I got with my g/f 3 years ago and she said she had it put in for about 2 years, it was her comp, so I'm not too sure, she said her dad had it installed in like 2001 or something, it was in his comp prior to that time, she also said he had it custom built, though I dont know if she was talking about the HD or the comp when it was upgraded, but I know the upgrade in 98 cost near $900

Looking back its odd how much technology has advanced in the past 10 years
