    Children of Men

It's showing in Denver now, which I assume means it's in wide release. Go see this movie. The setting: The near future, Britain. A totalitarian government is in control. All immigrants are being rounded up and put in internment camps. All women are sterile. There are no children.

Gorgeous cinematography of a heart rendering, believable future. Intense action sequences that are unbelievably shot with no cuts. An emotional, smart story that makes V for Vendetta look like a cartoon.

I'm done making lists. Go see the movie. *****

Ditto. Best film I have seen in ages. I was sitting there in the theatre trying to remember the last time I had been so impressed by a movie

My dad took me to it, and loved it. He even cried during a scene. He does that often at movies, though. Calls them 'tearjerkers'.

My dad said it was choppy and hard to follow. He said the same thing about Cuaron's Prisoner of Azkaban.
