Looking for RPGM2 Manual / Help Red Dragon with RPGM2

I got RPGM2 package today! Huzzah!

Only thing is, it's used. Thus has no manual, didn't even have the correct case.

I fooled around a little with the software, and it is very intimidating. I have no idea what I am doing. I switched it to beginner and then turned to hard (I heard that it's the best way.)

Thankfully I am still at home for break and can use my big screen TV to look at the tiny text.

Anyhow I am looking for any scanned game manual, or any manual in general that can help me.

    Thanks.

It's been a while since I had it, but I actually belive that it did. It actually had a full walkthrough on how to do an adventure of your own, and it went indepth with each of the diffrent sections, plus it had a full color photo of all the items, models, and pretty much all the graphics. I'm planning on asking for this for Valentines Day.

Although the Mag one is nice, is there any that has better resolution? I can't read it too well, the images are so blurry.

            Sorry. Thanks alot though.

There's an in-game guide for the weird button combos for the map editor.

The manual was carp. Spend $15 and get the Prima guide.

                  Anyhow.

I was wondering if there is some basic step by step tutorial online somwhere for a basic "if you touch this event then initiate battle"

I can't even seem to get the events to show up on the map when in test play.

EDIT: Nevermind, that was because I was working directly in HARD mode without going to Normal Mode first.

                      Re: Looking for RPGM2 Manual

I just want the HARD MODE scripts that you get in normal mode. I hate all this extra crap, but I can't exactly have that stuff if I start in Hard Mode.

Yeah, I didn't think it would be, but RPGM2 is annoying

                      EDIT:

Hey guys, Free 13 pages of the Prima guide!

Just a sampler of the guide Resolution is great.

Well all the scripts are written out in their entirety in DungeonWardens FAQ in the tutorials section.

As for the guide, it's really more useful as a reference tool, though it can help you get started. It's really nice to have all the script commands listed, along with a lot of the models and such in the game listed. It doesn't really go over the preset scripts though.

But I would just look through the archives here and at Doans if you're looking to learn it. Both of them are great resources and contain tons of information that basically just gets repeated.

This guide is also pretty helpful starting out http://doanthenado.com/files/World_Creation_Guide.txt.

I'll see if I can't get a better scan of the manual up sometime this weekend. Since it actually is pretty useful for determining the order of creation for the various editors.

The only RPGM site I go to is here.

So yeah, I don't really know about the other sites, thanks.
