    Video game commercials

    A colleague of mine the other day let me have one of his vhs tapes so I can record a few things. I put it in the vcr that I have to rewind it, but it started playing the tape first.

    It was a tape full of video game commercials. Old ones too. I saw one for FF3/6 (snes), Super Mario 64, Bomberman 64, Final Fantasy 8, just a bunch of them.
    That was unexpected. But kinda cool, so I went online to see if I could find others that might be good.

    I think the Gears of War ad is one of the best noncheesy ads I've seen. But alot of these are still good stuff.

    Never gets old.

      the FFVII one left me wanting to play FFVII (which is nice, since it means they didn't totally waste their money on advertising ^_^)

      ... the God Hand advert left me ....bemused.... =P

      and the LTTP one came so close to literally making me lmao, i almost needed corrective surgery XD

        The only video game commercial I ever really liked was that one PS2 commercial where the guy is walking down the street and sees all these signs and hints that lead him to save a little girl from a falling gargoyle. There was also one where it was a PS2 store or something with a kind of bubble of game reality around it. So when someone walked near they turned into a skateboarder or soldier or whatever. That was cool. The whole "Live in Your World Play in Ours" campaign was done well. Now we got creepy dolls and eggs. That's progress for ya.

          I remember the second one you're talking about but not the first, do they have it on that site?
