Hey, no prob. It's nice when the question is an easy one.
Also, I'm sure you've checked it out already, but if not, check out the stickied thread titled "Answers to Basic RPGM3 Questions" by Hitogoroshi. That's got lots of useful info in it.
There are many people on here who have worked a while with RPG Maker 3 and would be glad to help people out if they get stuck. I would recommend also just browsing through some of the threads in this forum and you'll see what I mean.
Basically, it's trial and error. The more you work with it, the better you'll get.
OR, do what you did here and just post! Not to take anyhting away from Hit's FAQ, but there's a lot there to wade through and you're more likly to forget or be confused there... I am, anyway... As you get more experienced, you'll be getting more and more questions (and complaints) and the best way to resolve them is just to start a thread! (BTW: Welcome!!!)
Well, the FAQ can be helpful if you're looking for somehting that you already know is there, but otherwise its really just a shot in the dark. something that is asked frequently is not the same thing as something people frequently make mistakes on. I know I've had mismatched character colors like crazy, but I knew what I did and just went back and fixed it. Not to say this thread isn't valid or valuable, but putting something like this in the FAQ would be either redundant or make people think its like a tutorial on starting up the game.
As you progress into RM3 further, you get stuck with modes and variables (ugh!) and making underwater scenes and areas! Its progressive!!!
