Screenshots Needed

I need to make my streamlined battle system program and I need a few screenshots, if someone can please take the time to do this I'll put you in the credits on the main window

I need:
-1-A screen shot of the character stats screen where you see his stats(STR, DEF, etc...)

-2-the same thing but with the monster screen

preferably in 1024x768 or 640x480 resolution, I also need the picture to be as sharp as possible

OH ****!!! My dumb ass forgot...I SWEAR, I'll do it tomorrow morning when I wake up. There are screen caps that I promised to someone else, as well...jeez...I'm like, dizzy or something. *rolls eyes*

I didn't know whether you meant the 'status' screen, or the editor screen, so I just did both. They are ripped at 640x480, and I crisped them up a bit in Paintshop.

if you want you can start the caps for all the stuff I need for my informational program and throw them in a zip file, but that may be too much to ask of one person

Wait...which caps do you need? It's no trouble at all, I still have the PS2 hooked up. I can get as many as you need...I just need to know exactly which ones to capture.

I'll be compiling a database with all the pictures and color variations of every monster and character, like I said thats a serious undertaking, you dont even have to edit any, just pop them into a zip file and I'll take care of the rest

Ok...I'm ready to start this...I think. I'm going to try and not only get all of the enemies (in all color forms), but get ALL of the portraits as well. It's going to be insane, and it's probably going to take me forever...especially since I'll be trying to work on ToL at the same time (and everything else...like work and sleep). I'd still like to help you with making the templates into EXE's...that's why I was working on getting the portraits in addition to the enemy ones you wanted. It would be nice if the character template had drop-down fields where you could enter 'drawn 4 - elf' or whatever, and have the exported character sheet display the proper portrait.

Oh...and does the enemy background matter? It would be much easier to do these in the editor...I wouldn't have to make enemy parties and place them...but they're going to have that pee-yellow background.

I can't believe I'm about to say this...my hands are shaking as I type this...but I think I'm going to just say **** IT and just get screenshots of all the models too, as long as the PS2's connected. Personally, I think Valk's model list would look great with some pictures of all of them, if he wanted to do that. It would be image heavy, but the pictures could be pretty small and still be legible.

All this is going to drive me insane, but if it inspires someone to work on their game then it's worth it...it's just going to take a while.

Well what you'll be doing will not only inspire someone to finish their game, it will also be seen by RPGM3 makers worldwide Considering that the database is going to be a COMPLETE informational database, everyone will want it, and your name and anything else you want can be included in the program, you can have your own about page if you want

Take as many or as little as you want, I know you have a life outside of screencaptures so I'm not in any rush, but yes if you have any ideas for how things should be organized by all means let me know, I'm still trying to figure out the how the organization will be

I've been watching you two talk about this and I agree with (what I think) Obright said about how you should organize it by 'drawn 4 - elf' but I think you also be able to get to anywhere from anywhere! OKay, like if you're on the page for character stats, you should (if possible) have a link (or even a drop down menu) to get to the pictures/models/etc. and make everything interconnected.

I have to say the one thing I really hate about the RMs is that "you can't get there from here" mindset that the programers used... I mean, RM2 is horrible with it (register the model, then the character, then you can make it a party member... URG!!!) and RM1 was pretty simplistic, but with everything the RM3 has in it is seems that organization took a leading role while convience got shafted.

Either way, I'd forget about "pretty" (who really cares if the BG is a yucky color?) and go for broke on easy/convienient!
