    Dreadlord: The politics of evil

I just uploaded a demo of Dreadlord, a political sim with a dark twist, and an item storage system. Only for RPGM3.

    Merry Christmas.

Things you can expect from the full version:

-A detailed world with a dark past.
-60+ levels of dungeons filled with traps and minor puzzles
-Over 100 unique weapons and armors
-Store 120 items at the storage house, instead of the current 30
    -Three levels of difficulty
-Multiple endings based on the choices you make
-Proactive AI that does everything from taking care of domestic affairs to sabotage and diplomacy

Tjoris, I notice that your demo description warns us quite a bit to ignore...well, most of the demo. Was this just released for a Dec. 25 release date? Or it there enough meat to hold the attention of my friends? I'm going on a download spree before a party (so far, a Farm Life, Hippy Hunt 2, Series 4, PsudeOthello-which I love.)

I know it suggests there's a lot of changes in mind, mostly decorations, background info, and creating a proactive AI system. I am keeping many of the basic gameplay concepts, such as turn-based gameplay and the control mechanisms. By "major overhaul" I meant that I'm adding a LOT to the between-season mechanics (Even in as simplistic a sim as this it can be quite a challenge to create proactive AI, a feat I hope to accomplish). Many of the areas are undecorated, but the key events, which enable you to play the sim part of the game, are in place.

I put the demo up at this point for a December 25th release, and also to get the game concept out there as quickly as possible to hopefully get feedback before I call it done.

It's not like the Forest of Deceit demo I released on 6/6/06, this demo is actually going to give you some idea of how the game will really play.
