Okay... should I find it weird that my Best Buy was selling Jump Superstars for the DS for 50 bucks?

Re: Umm... WTF?
Arent all Max Drives like that? I've gone through 3 since RPGM2's release, and the discs were all that size. And of course, you dont need to buy a new flash drive if you lose the one for your max drive software, any will do, even a PSP in USB mode.I had to buy that one cuz i lost the flash drive to my original max drive, but the new one comes with a PC and PS2 cd that are the size of gamecube discs.

Re: Umm... WTF?
Well, to be specific, I first bought an Action Replay Max, which came with a max drive. The discs that came with that were normal size. When I lost the flash drive to that, i tried to use another flash drive with 512mb, but it kept telling me there wasn't enough room when I tried to download the entire code list again. Which was odd, since the total file size right now is not even 4mb. SO that told me any flash drive wouldn't do, but another flash drive from the same people worked just fine.Last edited by Goufunaki; 12-23-2006, 05:55 PM.

i'm glad i've never seen this... even without a psp, i might have been compelled to buy such a fantastic relic for the sheer joy of it.Originally posted by Misty View PostBreath of Fire III for the PSP was there for about $40, and it was the European release (translated, of course), but you could play it on your PSP.

Fry's Electronics also has some import games for sale, too. Last time I visited, I saw a Japanese Bust a Move and some racing game for the DS and PSP--respectively. They sold them at the same price as regular PSP and DS games.Originally posted by manji View Posti'm glad i've never seen this... even without a psp, i might have been compelled to buy such a fantastic relic for the sheer joy of it.
The DS and PSP are backwards-compatible with import games so it makes sense that some major American retailers like Best Buy or Fry's would carry imported games. And a lot of them aren't text heavy either. I always thought it was kinda illegal to do it, but I guess now it seems okay.
I'm assuming the imported stuff they sell are unique titles that may never be localized anyway.Last edited by Misty; 12-25-2006, 10:12 PM.
